General Knowledge slideshow on Australia!!

Hi this is my presentation about Australia.  My group was learning to share our learning to a wide audience and find information about the world around us. I think that I was successful because I can use map skills to find locations, I can scan texts for key information, I can read texts to make connections with different countries and cultures.I think I enjoyed finding new information about another country . I think that I should put more information and find more information.

The Attack from Humongous Trolls!!

Once upon a time, there were small and little trolls, that lived in a secret place, from the big, giant that is more humongous, than the trolls. Do you want to know where that secret place is? It is a forest with million of big trees, and millions of big bushes!!

They were having a humongous party! When all of a suddenly one of the humongous trolls came and stole some of the trolls, and went back to his town!!

But just as he was about to go. One of the small trolls, came out of hiding, and tried to free his friends, and guess what?? He freed them!! The humongous troll, never came back and that, was a day to remember, and they all lived happily ever after!!

I was learning to use descriptive language, punctuation and use the right structure.  We had to do a descriptive character and then a descriptive setting then a narrative story  then a screencastify and then a blog post. I think I need to still need to work on descriptive language in my writing.

Surf Life Save Slide!!

The whole of Te Ngahere went to the life saving program. We had parents and we played lots of beach games. They were really fun and we met three awesome life guards. We then had some free time. We got to play with the boogie boards and tubes. It was a really awesome day!!!

Triathlon!!

On Friday we had a triathlon at school!! We first did the swim. We got splashed and smelt salty and I wasn’t even cold. After we got out we ran up to the pedestrian crossing. We ran back to school and rode our bikes around the field 2 times, went through the goal posts and got a muesli bar. After we got a ice block and it was really nice and refreshing.

The Tangelo

The tangelo is as sweet as a lollies.

The tangelo feels as squishy as slime.

It smells like a orange.

It sounds like a crack in a piece of paper.

It taste like an orange.

I was learning to use descriptive language and words. We used our five senses smells, feels, smells, looks like, tastes like. I think I need to work on to put more writing in and descriptive words in.

Remember. . .

Flopped in the car singing and sleeping to Auckland?

Beep beep went the car

Trying to sleep but getting annoyed with irritating noises because I was exhausted from packing the car.

Going to my little baby cousin's birthday in Auckland and stay at my cousin's house and resting peacefully seeing our cousins.

That was summer.

I was learning to notice and use the structure of a piece of writing to create my holiday descriptive writing.

The success criteria is to start with I remember or Remember.

Next write what you were doing.

After write something that was is happening.

Forth write something that you did.

Fifth write why you did that something.

I think I need to put descriptive words in.

I think I put lots of writing in.
