You need to bring plan your trip, tell someone, be aware of the weather, know your limiters and take sufficient supplies.

Activity 3
I think it is a good idea because when I go to a university my mum and dad don't have to pay for 3 years.

  1. Kia Ora Yuktha,
It’s awesome to see that you have completed so many of the activities in the Summer Learning Journey. Keep up the great work!
I think you have the right idea! It’s really important to be prepared for different situations on the Tongariro Crossing. Just a few years ago, Tongariro actually erupted! Luckily it only created massive ash clouds which caused lots of issues for State Highway One and for planes. You have done a great job filling out the template with information about Jenny Shipley. I must have been a great honour for her to be the first female prime minister in New Zealand and she is still the only female to lead the National Party!
You make a good point, that students shouldn’t have to pay. That way they don’t end up with big student loans or their parents aren’t out of pocket. When you go to university, what did you want to study?
    Keep up the great work!

  2. Hi Yo. It's Leisha. It would be wise to bring extra food just in case. Me and you did the same prime minister. Isn't cool that Jenny was the first female prime minister! I totally agree with you about the 3 years at university free. Great job bestie!
