I think the movie gold rush is about people finding gold. Trying to get a new life. I wouldn't like to watch a silent because you don't really know what their doing.

Activity 1: I think that's what the movie was about too. Is there a way we can find out if we're right without watching the movie? Watching a silent movie would be quite difficult I think because you would need to be focusing all the time. I would like to watch one one day though!
Activity 2: I gave the painting 4 stars as well. I like the colours the artist has used and think they contrast very well. But the artist has called this painting a self-portrait and I think they could have done a better job of painting their self.
Bonus activity: Wow! Your poem really captures how frightened the pilot must have been before he landed safely. Well done. I like how you have said that he was running out of time. How do you think he felt once he had landed?
